Customer Service

I was on my way back to Kuching yesterday to attend my seminar. After a great Work Hard Play Hard event (I was planning just to come and eat, little that I know I would be playing as well), my friend sent me to the airport (Thanks Yeo!).
There I was sweating, arriving really early and with lot’s of stuff with me (including my free food take away). I went to the only counter available to check-in my bags as I’ve checked via web earlier. There is a counter for drop off baggage but no one was there so I have to queue like anyone else.
The guy at the counter firstly didn’t do greeting nor gave any eye contact when I passed him the printed check-in paper. That’s fine, so I proceed to explain to him that I’ve checked in and now just dropping off my bag. I was a bit startle when he asked me in a quite high tone for my IC. Then, when I checked my things in… I have a box that was not wrapped. With another flight carrier, I got helped before to wrap it with their FRAGILE wrapper. However this guy mentioned that they do not provide such of a service. And asked me to go find somewhere along the shop to seal it off before sending it back for checking in.
Ok, at this point, I tried to find another way to do this. However, he still insist hat I have to get it seal. I would appreciate if he could at least tell it in a nicer way. By this time, I have no energy to argue with him so I just left with the box to find somewhere to seal it off. Great start to my weekend it seems…
After getting it wrap again (Bought a RM2 tape - at town would cost less than RM1! Price goes up from RM1.30 - RM2 with the oil price increase, ntah2 old stock!), I tried to check in to another counter. When I saw his counter is empty I said what the heck, might as well go to him and I won’t have to explain. When I’m infront of that counter, he stood up and just walked pass by me without even saying anything or something. Usually people say ‘Sorry miss, counter close please use the next one’. I was soo shocked with this suppose to be Malaysia Hospitality airlines counter today. I say what the heck is going on with this guy? Don’t bring your personal problem to the counter! You are bringing bad image! Like to me!
So finally I went another lady, who is busy talking on her phone. So I asked her when she was finished that if the counter is open. She said yes and I continue informing her what had happen. At least she wasn’t being rude or anything but she made a very ‘masam’ or grumpy face.
After getting my things checked in, I get out from that area… I wonder if it is just the day where Malaysia Hospitality becomes Malaysia Hostility?

Blogger vs WordPress?

Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to compare between this two great FREE blog. This is more like my personal opinion that has made me use wordpress instead of blogger and might turn back to blogger… oh how complicated mind I have right now

WordPress

1. Very cool interface
I can be easily tempted with nice UI or design - does that speak for the guy I like as well? Oh how shallow…

2. Easy to use
It does have drag and drop features, password option that includes post private.

3. Nicer standard design
I realise the free version has limited design as well.. you can’t use the free wordpress themes outside

 Blogger

1. Design
Customise your own design (that was the reason I changed, too complicated) only after that they introduce user interface similar to WordPress for their design

2. The best part (Adsense or any other advert)
This is the only free blog that allows me to put my adsense etc there..

3. Link to other googles services.

Be it furniture, clothes, healthcare…industries today
are marketing nothing more than commodities – no
more, no less. What will make the difference in the
long run is the care and feeding of customers.
