Bought it few weeks back at Miri Apple store, since I cant’ find it in KL or online (out of stock!)

Last week on my trip back to hometown, I saw the speck satin with the same price as well.. seems the new stock reduced in price.

It has been awhile

So many things was going on lately and I have not enough time to update…

After the Hari Raya, the lost of my Ajashi, the reorganisation (axing some people call it) in the company, my weight increased due to stress etc…

So I’m picking up again.. will update with a new look soon.

My missing cat

It has been few weeks since he was missing / captured, it was 2nd day Raya and this year was the worst Raya ever.

My sister has been looking for him everyone the first week he was missing, it took us hard when he didn’t return to my grandparents house after 4 days. He had been missing in Miri when we moved house but he returned after 3 days dehydrated and hungry but healthy.

This time, he was missing in the cage where Ajema was still in it. In theory, if he ran away the gate would be open however in this case it was close. We suspect someone near was attracted to his blue eyes and cute face, decided to have him. Both cats are really afraid of human they are not close with and I’m worried he would suffer.

It has been weeks, I still pray everyday that he is well taken care off.. if he is somewhere wondering around he will find his way home. He would return safely and if nothing else he is safe and healthy.

Some might not relate to loving animal, sometime more than other human being. He was like my own family, I saw him came to this world and was his ‘bibik’ every step of the way. It has been almost 4 1/2 years and those memories with him is hard to dismiss.

Every cat has their own personality as well. Missing his cuddle  around your feet bringing you warmth.. looking for you in the morning just to have that short nap with you… how he put his paw on my face waking me up because he’s hungry.

I miss him… soo much and its a hard fact to face that when I’m back next week I won’t get to see him yet…

Wherever you are Ajashi, I wish you well and we will meet again one day… Ajema misses you dearly

Unwrapping Macbook Pro 13 Inch

Unwrapping the box… it is simple packaging. It’s motto is to be more GREEN. Now I remembered not long ago how the company tries to implement GREEN IT and it turns out bad..

Now with a knife in my hand, Andy tries to to steel! :p nope he is the one taking the photo

Uh.. speechless..

Me & my new Macbook Pro 13 Inch… delivered to my office

So far I’m extremely in JOY with my new apple. Watching movie with crisp display! I was afraid that watching on 13 inch would deter my enjoyment of watching in 15 inch. So far that is not an issue.

I’ve used it for few days, loving the long battery life! The keyboard is fine… I’m able to adjust from the aluminium type of keyboard to the black plastic. Though I still prefer my old keyboard, the sound is pleasent! This sound bit too ‘plastic’ hehe..

The only thing I’m bit dissapointed is that I’m not able to use the previous macbook pro cable with this, even my Firewire 400 also differ and I have to use USB which is SLOWER! To purchase another cable firewire is not cheap here.. so I’ll survive..

Other than that, am very happy..can’t wait to see the iTunes 9 later.. Looking forward to use on the way back home for the festive holidays! Though I”m bit afraid that people would know I’m bringing one… better be careful!

Next is to try and install windows 7 just for the sake of 1 apps? Let me see… I’m testing out Bento right now and if I”m happy I’ll probably stick to it..

Cheap Fare vs Full Fare

As I was in Kuching during the weekend and been travelling quite extensively this pass few weeks.. suddenly it struck me of this topic..

Why?

Before…

Looking back at our Malaysian airline industry… from the days of only having 1 airline opperating in the nation, now we have several. I remember those days when I was an undergraduate studying over the South China Sea… the price of a flight ticket to go back home was really EXPENSIVE for average family. In 1999 until 2001 I was studying, I only go back 1 or 2 a year… now everyone can fly almost every week!

When the 2nd airline was introduced…. you know what… my mom opt to buy the ticket from there because when you are a student you get 25% off. Then, not long after that, student card was introduced by the other airlines offering 50% price if booked earlier. Even so, that can still cost a lot more than the price we have now..

Now…

After the cheap fare was introduced, or more known as ‘low cost’… not only 1 airline is offering it but almost all airlines have promotion, sales, cheap fare etc.. Now, if you are diligent enough in planning and lucky enough.. you can get very cheap tickets. Provided.. your schedule are not ‘adhoc’ like some people or ‘uncertain’.

Though there are times I can get ticket as cheap as RM28 1 way.. it was burn because something came up or I got to change different date etc.. in the end the RM28 I can use for ‘makan’ or pay my bills goes to the airline 100% profit because they can offer the seat to another person buying it at full fare.

In the end, I end up buying tickets quite late and pay more.. unless I’m really certain of the timing that nothing can prevent me from flying. Saying that.. I got to increase my spending power to prevent my purchase stress syndrome! haha..
